Procurement Policy

This Policy outlines the key principles related to procurement as a functional and important activity of Drumgrange. It is an outward-facing document to demonstrate to all involved in Drumgrange’s Supply Chain, that it takes procurement activity seriously and deals fairly.

It is the Company Policy to:

Ensure supplier compliance
All suppliers must be compliant with all relevant UK and international legislations, including modern slavery, bribery and corruption, human rights, labour standards, and GDPR legislations.

Assess suppliers and subcontractors for approval
All suppliers and subcontractors must meet the requirements of our safety, quality, and environmental management systems as defined in our Supplier Approval procedure (QP43).

Purchase goods and services from trusted companies
The Company will take action against any supplier providing non-legitimate or counterfeit products or serives, as defined in our Control of Non-Conforming Material procedure (QP60).

Be fair, ethical and transparent in all procurement activities
This ensures that we achieve value for money, which is then distributed fairly and proportionately, end-to-end, within the supply chain, in accordance with our Anti-Bribery Policy (CP502).

Identify the local social, environmental and economic impact of our supply chain
With the aim of engaging positively with the local community, as per our Environmental Policy (CM03).

Ensure appropriate NDAs and/or other safeguards and controls are in place
This will protect customer, company and supplier information and prevent any information security breach or information security attacks internally and through the supply chain, aligning with our Information Security Policy (CP555) and Supplier Information Security Policy (CP557).

Ensure impartiality
By declaring any personal interest which may affect or be seen by others to affect impartiality, in line with our Anti-Bribery Policy (CP502).

Comply with IR35 regulations
All contractor services must be compliant with all government legal requirements.

Ensure conformance to the Drumgrange Supplier Code of Conduct (CP54)
This applies to all suppliers of goods and services.
