You'll be in good company.
Over a quarter of our workforce served in the Armed Forces. So whether you are transitioning out of the Armed Forces or on your 3rd civilian job after leaving, you will be a natural fit.

When you join Drumgrange, you will be joining one of the last independent, family-run engineering companies in the UK defence industry. You'll be more than just a number.
You can expect to hit the ground running from day one, with lots of room for individual recognition. Having been a military end-user—perhaps even operating our equipment—the skillset you gained and the unique perspective you bring to the table are invaluable. You will be actively involved across our projects, with plenty of opportunity to make a difference in the way things go in the company.
We are a forces-friendly workplace; a proud recipient of the Gold Award from the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme. We actively recruit service leavers through Career Transition Partnership, the official resettlement scheme for the Armed Foces.
Come full circle and join our forces-friendly workplace, where the unique skillset and perspective you gained in the Forces are valued around the table.

We offer a placement programme for those who are still in active service but looking to transition into civilian life.
Spanning the course of 1-2 weeks, this programme involves shadowing a Drumgrange employee who has made a similar transition in the past.
You would be able to meet our staff and see the work that we do, so not only will you have the opportunity to learn how they integrated into civilian life, but you can also assess whether a role at Drumgrange would be right for you.
