George Howe, MD and Owner of Drumgrange, stated “The challenging project schedule made it imperative that the cooperation and communication between Marubun and my technical team was responsive, unambiguous and accurate, as a result the equipment was delivered to specification and ahead of time”.
The Acoustic Hailing Devices will aid the Japanese Coast Guard in their continuing efforts to patrol the country’s coastal waters and will provide much needed long range audio communications. Two types of AHD have been delivered; the four horn, AHD-9-14Z and two horn, AHD-5-12Z. These devices have a unique modular construction allowing for commonality of spares and single user assembly and operation. The system can be removed from its case, assembled and fully functional in less than 15 minutes.
